The sculpture is that of a life size Red Tail Hawk in flight. The wingspan is four feet across, the bird is approximately two feet above the base and the base is 32 inches long. The piece weighs approximately 110 pounds. I wanted the bird to be flying without being stuck to the side of a tree or a rock which is the usual technique. The edition for Headin' Home is limited to 10.
